If someone asks you a question rudely,how do you respond?

What about a rude text?

I let them know I feel disrespected and won't tolerate it

"Look dude, I don't know what kind of day you're having, but being rude to me isn't going to make it better. If anything it'll make it worse because now there's two pissed off people in the room instead of one. Chill out."
