I disagree with @NestChicken. I met my partner on OKCupid a couple years ago. 🥰
My recommendation though is if you use dating sites write your profile on how you live in alignment with your personal values (what really matters to you), not vague adjectives (I’m kind, fun etc) or interests ( I like abcd music, abcd movies, my family etc unless those interests are a big part of your actual regular life.
You won’t get ‘as many replies’, but the algorithm will work better at matching you with people you’d actually be compatible with.
