I think when people make fun of others with clear artistic talent they're usually jealous and bitter that they don't have that talent, yeah?

I used to be an art major and you wouldn't believe how people react when you tell them you're an art major. I was disrespected and laughed at all the time, always by people who couldn't do art. Don't let it get to you though. When people give you unsolicited criticism or disrespect you just remember that it says more about them than it does about you and your artwork.
