Are you freaking kidding me?

So I waited a week for my doctor's appointment, expecting to be prescribed and at the last second, he cancels on me without even telling me a proper reason as to why. NOT EVEN THE DAY PRIOR! It was thru telehealth so I was in the video chat lobby waiting and I was wondering why it was taking so long. I check my message portal and I found out he cancelled on me and told me to reschedule. I told them if they don't have someone else see me today I'm cancelling everything and taking my business somewhere else. This is so utterly ridiculous. Yes I am upset....

@UnderLockDown Shittt I wish it worked like that. I mean they charge patients for missing and rescheduling appointments. So yeah why shouldn't they be penalized for wasting peoples' time?
@BrokenNative If they can charge, so can we! If they don't pay, send it to a collection company.
I would love to see people do this.😈

Had that happen with an early morning in person visit. I was practically in the parking lot. Turns out the doctor had COVID

@TrunkZ Well his excuse wasn't valid like covid. He just wrote back. He said it was because of "scheduling conflicts". That is bs. That basically means he scheduled over my appointment or he forgot. Not a valid excuse whatsoever.

If we cancel without 24 hour notice, they bill us anyway. Send them a bill.

Almost the same thing happened to me at this clinic I used to go to. I had covid at the time and was really sick when I got on telehealth I waited for hours and he didn't came. I will just go back to my old doctor.
