I'm just worried now about how im going to get to work.

I can't afford uber/lyft multiple times a day because that adds up. Taxis are expensive and the public transportation system in detroit is pretty garbage. It's also cold as hell out and there is snow and ice everywhere which will make walking hell. I guess I better start figuring that out because I work job 1 tomorrow at 730am

Can you buy a motorized bicycle. The cheapest kits are 200$.
If your job it not too far perhaps you could bundle up very well and just ride your motor bike to work daily.
They use almost no gas and can go as fast as 35 mph.

@deathfairy Yes or any neighbor going even part way in that direction? Perhaps pay them or else he will have to deal with the public bus.
