Those working holiday visas are a brilliant way to expand your horizons and open your mind while having loads of fun experiences. Travel and live abroad while you can is always good advice. Good luck, enjoy!

@TopOfTheWorld In the past when we have travelled up the East coast, half the service staff in cafes and restaurants were travelling on those working hilday visas and loving the life.😷

@Warewolfgal94 Sure they can. But why would they want to? Just beware of the Drop Bears and Vampire Wallabies.😷

@whowasthatmaskedman When we were in NZ we went to this combination art gallery/wine-tasting site in a vineyard and olive grove, where they produced both their own wine and their own olive oil. The young woman serving as the hostess actually was on an internship from a culinary school in Boston. What a wonderful opportunity that must have been.

@Warewolfgal94 Not many, so far..But up around Cairns they have had several incidents of Wallabies attacking cattle at night, like the Vampire bats. This seems to have started with extreme drought conditions a few years back. But another theory has it related to the spread of some mosquito borne diseases or possibly severe tick infestations making them anaemic.😷 There are a series of clips showing crows waiting for infested Wallabies to come looking for water, then feeding on the ticks. So these situations develop some unusual relationships.

@dancingtongue I had a distant young cousin come out from Britain on a working visa with the stated aim of becoming a star in a local soap opera in a year. Needless to say that didnt work, so when her time ran out she got the NZ version of the same deal and decided NZ would benefit from her star quality. That didnt work either and she went home unhappy at how unfair the locals were not to see her potential.. As far as I cam make out she saw little of either place.😷

@whowasthatmaskedman I assume Britain hasn't discovered her talent yet either?

@dancingtongue I am told there is a clip of her and a friend on X Factor someplace. But I have never seen it. Seems Simon was not enthusiatic.😷
