It looks really good.
@cherokeepatti thank you, i never had chilli, i wanted to try it
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@SimplyMeChantou As long as you didn’t make it too spicy the first time, I think
Most people in Canada aren’t used to a lot of heat.
@cherokeepatti i put one jalapeno plus 2 table spoons of chilli powder.. what do you think
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@SimplyMeChantou It shouldn’t be too spicy. I use Williams chili seasoning, has no salt and it calls for 3 tablespoons of chili powder per pound of ground beef.

@SimplyMeChantou If it’s too spicy for your taste you can top your bowl of chili with a little sour cream to help cool it down. We also like grated cheese on it sometimes.

@SimplyMeChantou I’d put three tablespoons of Thai chilli and 10 jalapeños!!

@SimplyMeChantou there’s a lot of ways to embellish chili. I like chopped onions, sour cream and a little cheese but sometimes have some mustard and onions (reminds me of a chili dog). We also like to pour chili over corn chips before eating and we call it a Frito Pie.

@cherokeepatti oh yeah Frito pie is is own animal around here. My chili I use tomato paste, sauce and pie a pound of sausage 2lbs hamburger about 3 or 4 onions 4 cans of red beans some red pepper tbl spoon, pepper garlic salt and... After I dunno a can of something in I fill the can with water and put it in every can gets refilled once because I don't drain the the skillet I saute the onions on that grease. I use about a73/27% ground beef it gets thick then I break up spaghetti, 16oz.in half and throw it in. It's depression era so that stretches it out and serve with Saltine crackers. They make a chili mix it's like a lard comes under different names like Texas chili or con carne anyway it adds something but not necessary I use an extra chili powder bottle. I think they are 3 or 6oz bottles. And that's what I eat the next 2 or 3 days. Plus I have to say excuse me a lot during those days.
