Our yard makes us look like trailer trash. It's embarrassing but my dad keeps throwing stuff everywhere!

That's not bad. I always seem to have several projects going, and stuff all over the place.
Though if we were still in town I would keep it picked up a little better. My house is about half a mile off the road, so not that many people see the mess.

It could be worse.

I can't complain, I still have tools, supplies, boxes, containers, vehicles, etc. piled up everywhere from work/previous jobs
