What do you think about this?

Now they have plus size models, how do you feel about them advertising clothes on models the size you select?

I'm a bigger lady now. I don't exactly wear plus size but I also don't fit size 6.
It would be nice to see a lady in a size 12/14 frame in some of the clothes.
Especially since a size 6 girl isnt going to have the little belly pouch, and the lady size 18/22, isn't really where I'm at.

I think we need some middle ground here.

How do you feel about this?

I haven't been a size nine since high school, so I feel your pain...😉. I shop online for the most part, and I've noticed that the photos go from reed thin models to thunder thighs for the plus models.

I feel that the really fat models are not doing their company a service. Perhaps the photos are representative of how fat women will REALLY look wearing their clothing...and that would be a reality slap. I would imagine sales have slipped.

@4meAndyou I also hate that they have a preference for curve models. They only seem to want the ones with hour glass shapes. Even go as far as go for plus with flat stomach but how many women do you know that haven't got that pouch under the navel.
I want the women as real as they can be.
They taught us about pear, apple, triangle and hour glass why aren't the curve ladies showing that?

I want the spectrum so then I'll know if the clothes are made well.

@4meAndyou BTW you crack me up thunder thighs I thought we were the only ones to say this.
My dad was forever taking the piss mostly out of family members he said its gentle ribbing it 'banter'
My half sister she is a curving lady when we went on holiday he said she had elephantitis. But this was mostly because the mosquitos attacked her ankles and maliciously left her with cankles!

Lmao!

@Mellowgirl Yes, I'm afraid the worst of the fat jokes have crossed the pond...🤣 But...I looked at jeans on sale yesterday, and that was the VERY first thing that popped into my head...🤣

@4meAndyou popped!
Hahaha.
Well I got my fair share of the Sliding weight jokes. I had a rotund belly most my childhood which made my ass stick out due to the curve in my back so I was always called pot belly, or cock bottom.(sounds worse than it is-Cockerell)

Then when I got slim I was told that I had a bony ass, or that I looked like a boy, that I was broadshouldered/androgynous due to my swimming.
Ugh!
Recently my ex manager said that I couldn't possibly fit into a size 12 shirt due to my huge boobies!
😳😱 Idiot!

@Mellowgirl I have had that bit of a belly since I had my son. Can't seem to lose it, and I am built the same way. VERY curvy back, and a$$ that sticks out a bit too far for my own taste.

@4meAndyou sounds perfect.
