Where you a demanding child? (yea i know, noone likes to admit it)

I asked for things but I probably wouldn't get it. Or if I did I almost didn't want it anymore.
Or I got something they thought was more suited to me instead.

Although I didn't grow up resentful as I got older and earned my own money I did especially when they would tell me not to buy the things I wanted.

At this point I had moved out so it didn't make any sense to tell me what to do.
