how much is a pound of Bacon where you are ? , it tends to fluctuate around here like from 3.99 a lb to 4.99 , some brand names are higher
i've seen it up near 7 $ a lb seriously !

Depends on brand, smoking and such. Rarely is it sold by the pound though here. Around 3.50 to 5.00 US for 12 oz in the grocery stores. That's US oz. Not Troy ounce which weight's more.
