I think it's weird that Im 41 years old, have been employed my whole adult life and have never once been drug tested.

And I wonder... Is this because Im a little white woman? Is this part of my white privilege?
Feel free to chime in with your race and if you've ever been drug tested. Let's compare notes.

I think it has more to do with the kind of job you work rather than race. Jobs that require drug testing tend to be more menial and low-skilled. They tend to have fewer prerequisites and large application pools.

I've never had a drug test, but I have had a background check when I had a job that involved working with children.
