I know you aren't all religious but for the purpose of this quote insert your belief accordingly...

But do you believe that God moves in mysterious ways...

Please don't bash the religious context. Its not about preaching my belief on you, more the sentiment of the point.

Today that dog coming up to me the way it did especially just waiting respectfully until I rubbed him, really cheered me up when I've been feeling so crap.

Did it know? Or was this kind soul placed in my path for the benefit of each other?

We know dogs have feelings but for the owner to be just as shocked as I was, indicates that's not normal.

I'm sure some of you will tell me to stop analysing this, but I can't help but live in hope that there is some divine reasoning.

I am of the belief that dogs are angels with fur. He knew you needed him.

Interesting observation. Yes we all have observed something unique and there must be a divine reason. Often Dogs are related spiritually. They are adorable too. I am not very close to dogs though. Basically I am afraid of them. But many love them and they love back those who love them.

dogs have lived with humans for a very long time and as a result maybe it just saw that you weren't feeling well and decided to come say hi. maybe it just wanted a pet and it was coincidence.

this at best is just an indication that dogs have empathy and are cute. nothing divine there.

to me ....everything leads to one. basically, the universe.

i cant commit all the way to one being called "God", when Jesus only lived a few thousand years ago.

people have been on this planet for 300,000 years. so who was "God" before that? or did it just take "him" 300,000 years to get the word out?

no....when we feel something we feel in INSIDE ourselves. I believe in the power of our own selves (like power of thinking), and the power of the universe. like the moon's pull on the ocean.

I do think miracles happen and things happen for a reason. because of the power of the universe and our very being

@HellsBelle Thank you for sharing this Suzy, I respect your views and I'm all for freedom of speech, but with that being said I am aware that not all, are so kind. Hence the Direction of my question.
I don't ever want anyone to be targeted on my posts.

There are sentences here that you've ended with ? but I am unable to answer those questions for you, because, like with your view its about a belief and a faith.
I hope they were rhetorical because i need you to understand that regardless i still respect you.

I hope you have a wonderful evening.

I’ve had some very similar experiences. 🤗

I think He moves in mysterious ways, though I can't tell whether the dog was sent by God. 🤔
Animals are as close to gods as we will get.
I’m not religious, but sometimes I’m amazed how animals relate to us. I do think they can sense when people are friendly or at least, non-threatening. My closest friends have had a menagerie in the 21 years I’ve known them. At one point they had guinea pigs, who actually began to come greet me after they had seen me visit a couple of times.

@bijouxbroussard that's really sweet.
I always wanted a pet and I think that having a dog may help brighten my perspective. 😊
