Tips for taming frizz

Before my hair was dyed blonde my hair just wouldn't settle.

I have half an hour of sleekness then the humidity etc gets to it and it starts to frizz up.

Its also a hormonal issue because the back of my head fires out the most amount of heat so there's often a wave there.

Anyways... I wash with pantene and use their heat serum with anti frizz but I still have the issue.

It is trimmed. She added layers. 😔

I have always had frizzy hair, but bleaching or coloring used to make it worse.

I have found that it doesn't matter what you use to wash or condition your hair, but it does matter what you do after your shower. I found a product called Age Defy by Pantene, which is a deep conditioner. The trick is to use it as a LEAVE IN conditioner. I use an amount about as big as a dime, and spread it through my wet hair with my hands.

Then I allow my hair to air dry, which takes about 3 hours on humid days. If I blow dry, the effect is negated.

There is a frizz busting heat brush, also, with silicone bristles, that will straighten your hair beautifully if you want a straight do.
@4meAndyou Exactly. Bleaching is terrible for hair, I speak from experience. It dries it out, and I think that has the propensity to make it more porous,
hence it absorbs moisture heightened efficacy?

It only works for me to blow dry IF I have product in my hair, and it has to be a strong one, i.e. mousse or gel, so literally it says in place, more or less.

We have done the leave in conditioner and it's alright (perhaps, the quality was not the best?). But we have super frizzy hair, my kin and I.
Stuff with oil, some kind of serum.

I think maybe even a combo, a frizz serum and the leave in conditioner, that sounds like a great idea.
I know I probably did it, but ages ago :)

It's gotten bigger since the start of the day. And I'm afraid to go out on this humid grey day

@Mellowgirl The Simply Straight heat brush will take care of that.
