Have you tried a brazillian blow dry? You can get the kits to do at home.

@WeeWeeWeeAllTheWayHome I haven't looked into them only because they're chemical process. I usually keep my hair curly due to having recently bleached hair I'm leaving it to rest, in the current straightness until I get bored or washing and blow drying it etc

I have always had frizzy hair, but bleaching or coloring used to make it worse.

I have found that it doesn't matter what you use to wash or condition your hair, but it does matter what you do after your shower. I found a product called Age Defy by Pantene, which is a deep conditioner. The trick is to use it as a LEAVE IN conditioner. I use an amount about as big as a dime, and spread it through my wet hair with my hands.

Then I allow my hair to air dry, which takes about 3 hours on humid days. If I blow dry, the effect is negated.

There is a frizz busting heat brush, also, with silicone bristles, that will straighten your hair beautifully if you want a straight do.

@Mellowgirl It's called Simply Straight.

It's gotten bigger since the start of the day. And I'm afraid to go out on this humid grey day

@Mellowgirl The Simply Straight heat brush will take care of that.
Tresemme's Silk line is one of the best out there in terms of easy brushing in the shower! Bar none, that I have used. Bonus, it's budget friendly.

Did you ask your hairdresser for suggestions?
Mine sprays some 'magic potion' before she straightens it.

I prefer no or minimal layers. My hair is both curly and frizzy.

I use mousse or gel. I know it's a hassle but it makes sense.

@LunadelobosIAMTHEDRAGON I will look into this. My old hairdresser was a God send. I loved whatever she did my hair was sooo sleek all the time, It grew and just was beautiful. Now it's hit and miss.
I will say though that the stylist that coloured my hair he did such an amazing job I think way better than anyone else I've met.
But his prices are outrageous for regular treatments.
I regret the layers but she cut them before I could say no.
I only asked her to shape the front.
@Mellowgirl Fortunately hair will grow 🙂

@Pinkstarburst I did a keratin hair mask but I think its too much for my hair, it does feel a little drier today. 2 days later.

How about ACV rinses, an age old remedy?
