I'm thinking of getting the vaccine soon but I still have reservations though about the whole fetus cell line thing

I also don't want anything weird happening this month, so maybe I'll get it in September.

If I take it i want to make sure I have a few days off work just to process it mentally and physically.

The thing also is once you take it there is no going back.

It’s not weird to feel apprehensive about the vaccine. We’ve never seen one created at a speed like this. It’s only natural people could be hesitant or worried about if it’s safe. I know majority likes to think those with a concern have no care for others or that they’re simply stupid it’s far easier to shame when that’s the belief. I know especially for myself my fear has been potential side effects that wouldn’t be seen the first year but years later. My husband & I are young & I’m pregnant we hope to have another one day too. I made the choice to wait until after my son is born to get the vaccine done. I’ve talked with both my own obgyn & my boss who’s a doctor. My husband is getting the vaccine today. I hope getting the shot will bring you relief of some kind for your health & others. But please don’t feel like the odd one out for thinking about it. Many really do but it’s uncomfortable to be honest about when so many want to shout. Let’s all hope we can trust in the safety of this & our world can be healthy & safe. That’s something everyone wants 🌻

@Mrsbetweenfatandfit I think one has to realise that the potential vaccine was in development long before COVID actually happened.

@1354swrdt it’s been a bit scary for me especially after those older ladies had their periods return I hadn’t realized that menstrual cycles could be impacted. When theirs returned I worried could my own be impacted too. There’s got to be a balance in weighing out the risks because of course COVID is serious. My own father was sick with it before we even knew what it was. From December until March he barely ate or could even stay awake. My dad wasn’t sick often so it was bad to see. It wasn’t until the later spring we found out what he had been sick with. My mom, husband & I had been around him everyday that whole time. We were fortunate to not get symptoms ourselves. I just wish we as a community of people could discuss why some have been worried about it. Instead of painting them all with a single stroke of selfishness. It doesn’t even do what they hope which is push people to taking it. It only has people hide their situation altogether. We need more unity which can’t be achieved through snapping fingers or judging looks. Obviously I don’t include those that think it’s not real in this.

@Mrsbetweenfatandfit I wasn't going to go into the gory details of my recent menstrual problems but I'm not menopausal yet and it's been crazy for me. My daughter's have seen what happened to me and have been scared off and I wouldn't recommend it to them but they've already decided I think anyway.

@carolinehugz I’m so sorry to hear that. Yes it’s been an unfortunate side effect for some women. It’s definitely something that must be considered when the choice is made. I hope these changes will not be forever for you 🐞

@Mrsbetweenfatandfit I have my kids so not worried about that, but do worry that my daughter's haven't and given their age anyway they would be better off avoiding it even though the government is threatening them. Not good times right now for their age group at all😕
