I also don't want anything weird happening this month
Well, you're up to the risk of catching delta; I'd say contracting cv-19 qualifies as weird things you wouldn't want to experience this month.

@dark548 most I know who had the vaccine told me that their arm just hurt for a day. And mind you these are people 65+.

@dark548 The problem with this virus is that by the time it convinces you it's too late for doing anything, usually. Vaccines are any effective if taken 2+ weeks before exposure (the more the better), treatments once symptoms appear may help but may also not do anything at all. It's a bit like playing russian roulette.

@basilfawlty89 but I'm also speaking emotionally and psychologically. Almost everyone in my family got it, heck even the church i used to go to promotes it now. It just feels weird like I'm losing something or succumbing. I have these feelings that i need to work through.

@dark548 you're succumbing to logic and reason. There's no shame in that.

@basilfawlty89 i know but I have all these irrational thoughts i need to work through.

@dark548 Vaccines have been rolling since Q1/2021, if you didn't manage to convince yourself in all this time I doubt a single month will. Just make sure not to have regrets with your choice, there is at least a new case everyday who, once hospitalized, begs the HCW to administer them the vaccine (which is refused since absolutely useless at that point).
