The Atheists should try forgiveness and see how itakes them feel

Those that believe in Christian mercy, love and eternal life may have a monopoly on heaven and salvation but we don't necessarily have a monopoly on the concept of forgiving those that have trespassed against us.

Atheists, next time someone wrongs you, instead of responding with spite and malice and becoming fixated on revenge, try instead to forgive the person who wronged you. Try and turn your mind to more pleasant things. Becoming obsessed with revenge will make you look older (because of stress hormones) and you will be emotionally unbalanced. But if you can forgive someone, you will find a measure of piece that might over time grow and change you as a person in a positive way that you may find surprising.

I know your post is out of good intention sweetheart

But Why always in your posts it’s either “Christians” or “atheists” ?Lol

You do realize there are other religions besides Christianity right ? For example Im a Muslim.

And second of all, being a Christian doesn’t necessarily mean you are a forgiving nice person😅
Just because you believe in god doesn’t mean you are automatically a practicing forgiving person with great morals.
You are talking as if all Christians are forgiving.
I swear I have met some atheists who were some of the nicest people I have ever met.
And I have met some Christians and religious people in general who were some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met in my entire life even in my own religion.
And of course vice versa, many wonderful Christians Muslims etc..

In Islam god always associates belief with good deeds
Because belief alone doesn’t take you anywhere
Every time god says “those who believe “
After it it comes “and do good “
For example :
{Indeed, those who believe, and do good....}2:277

I know you are only trying to advise people and preach your religion no harm in that , but maybe you could word it in a different way next time ? Maybe advise people in general? Even Muslims Jews Buddhists etc and Christians themselves need this advice.
Im a muslim not an atheist , but this is not a way to preach the forgiveness of Christianity in my opinion.
Have a good day!
@Moon3624 I have a question, why is it someone who puts up something in bad "faith" (I see this as) because they are deeply religious, given they are acting in good faith?
Moon3624 · 18-21, F
@thewindupbirdchronicles Im sorry but I didn’t get your question
English isn’t really my first language you see haha
Can you explain ?
@Moon3624 Why those determined, by society, are acting in good faith when I actually feel most are just trying to live. No one has moral authority over anyone, yet we give Creedence and create false ideas.

More simply put, two people could the same crime, one who has the given creed in faith, expresses remorse, while the other one may express the same, the one who says they are devoutly religious is believed more?

First I totally don’t agree with her post especially how she worded it, so if I gave you the wrong impression I sincerely apologize🥰

Good manners have nothing to do with being religious and vice versa.
But I was just saying that she “may “ said all of that out of good intention but worded it offensively.

If you want to know “Islam’s” point of view then:

In Islam even if you donate as much as the size of the sun multiplied a thousand times to charity and do good in your life
If you die as a non Muslim
Then what good you did on earth will not benefit you in the sight of god by the least
Because you did the worst crime possible
which is not believing in him And worshiping him. So every good deed you did goes to waste. Its like watering an empty pot since
The core (seed ) is missing.
It’s like standing in front of god on the day of judgment
And mentioning all the good deeds you did in life as deep as the ocean yet denied worshiping him and believing in him. So everything you did doesn’t matter.
It’s like getting windows doors etc for your house but you don’t have the foundation.
BUT
Similarly though “belief “ alone doesn’t take you anywhere in Islam
You need belief + good deeds.
That’s why in Quran every time god says “those who believe “ it’s followed up by “and do good”
Believing in god alone with no partners is the core seed and good manners etc is the water.

So technically in Islam belief alone doesn’t take you anywhere , you need beautiful morals and to do good deeds too.

However, the ridiculous idea that atheists or non Muslims are all mean because they lack “religion “ is stupid and doesn’t exist in Islam.
If having faith in god automatically makes you a good person god wouldn’t have bothered to add “and do good deeds “ after “those who believe “
a non Muslim can be very well mannered and we are obligated to treat you with respect and live with you in harmony.
{You have your way, and I have my Way.}109:6

{Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.} 60:8

So as long as you don’t fight us
We “should “ treat you with respect and justice.

As for the last part , in Islam you can’t be unjust even if it’s between a Muslim and a non Muslim.

During the time of prophet Mohammed, a Muslim stole a Shield from his Muslim neighbor and Then put the blame on a Jew who lived in the same neighborhood and swore he did it ,
And of course prophet Mohammed at first believed the Muslims and was about to give the ruling against the Jew
But god didn’t allow that injustice to occur
Imagine verses from 7 skies above
Came down to exonerate a Jew , Even though he denied Islam.
Check the verses out :
It starts with:
{Indeed, We have revealed to you, [O Muḥammad], the Book in truth so you may judge between the people by that which Allah has shown you. And do not be for the deceitful an advocate.} 4:105

(check the remaining verses 4:106-114 )

And you can even double check what I’m saying ^
Because god simply said :
{Indeed, Allah does not do injustice, [even] as much as an atom's weight} 4:40

Of course this is “Islam” as a religion
but not every “Muslim “ follows Islam by word sadly.
(Allah is Arabic word for god)

Have a good day💕
@Moon3624 Appreciated Moon. I know Allah is the Arabic word for god.

I was listening to a program on radio tonight of Indigenous music, and the one musician interviewed Indigenous talked about this, God, Allah, The Creator is all the same in meaning in name; I choose the name 'The Creator'

Thank you for the long response and expressed openly.
