Trouble with those in elite sports is they rarely know when to quit.
Soccer players; Boxers; NFL players; Tennis players, even track and field athletes must all know that there’ll come a time when their bodies just can’t take it anymore.
There’s only so long you can keep up that relentless schedule of practice; play; tour; recover.
And she’s had more than her fair share of success.
I guess the other consideration is her sponsorship.
If she’s contracted to appear and play by whoever sponsors her then obviously she’s going to do her utmost to ensure she’s there.
It would just be a shame if she couldn’t quit on her own terms rather than do irreparable damage trying to re-live glory years

If she has the grit to pull off one last grand slam I wouldn't mind it. The male greats haven't been in decent shape either but they still got fight, don't hear any one calling for them to stop

I have started to doubt that she will get that last grand slam. Time and years of playing at that level seem to be taking their toll.
Same for Federer too. His time may be up soon.
