We only have one planet; we are not owners, merely caretakers for our children.

“Only when the last tree has been cut down, the last fish been caught, and the last stream poisoned, will we realize we cannot eat money.”

Some 15.3 Billion tree's are cut down each & every year.

We have to atleast stop using items made of wood much as possible.

May be switch to something similar or recycled plastic.

Also we need control over production of humans.😅

@SteelHands
estimates are that it will likely top off at 40 billion and then naturally decline until humans go completly extinct in about 300 years.
🤦‍♂️

Human population is 7.9Bn we're not going to add 32Bn people in 4 generations which is exactly what 300yrs is.🙄

@HopelessGuy Hemp has several growing seasons per year, it can be use for food, paper, building material, medicine, clothing & it absorbs far more CO2 than trees do.👌

It's also a mighty fine smoke.

@SteelHands A generation is the start to the end of life🤦‍♂️ for the average human that's 80yrs. 4 x 80yrs = 320yrs
L33TH4X0R · 41-45, M
@SteelHands Erm NO! It didn't reach 2BN until 1927, 3BN some 33yrs later in 1960.

You don't seem too aware of hard facts. - The worlds population is 'SLOWING'.

"In these projections, world population peaks at 9.22 billion in 2075. Population therefore grows slightly beyond the level of 8.92 billion projected for 2050 in the 2002 Revision, on which these projections are based. However, after reaching its
maximum, world population declines slightly and then resumes increasing, slowly, to reach a level of 8.97 billion by 2300, not much different from the projected 2050 figure."
Department of Economic and Social Affairs.
Population Division "WORLD POPULATION TO 2300" Report.

ie the population is expected to peak in 2075 to 9.22 Billion; but to 2300 or 280yrs from now it's expected to have reduced back to 8.97 Billion.

@SteelHands You are deluded my friend.👍
@SteelHands I agree with timber being clean part .

Sorry my fellow hominid, I assumed china, india and several other countries will contribute to the population growth.

Is it true that We have more trees, wow I guess deforestation and pollution is a myth.

@L33TH4X0R I agree with the hemp part but not all of us follow environmental healthy practices.

@SteelHands I did call you delusional.

There is no way the population will expand to 40 Billion; the Earth could not sustain a population of 40 Billion. Regardless of adding numbers & looking at trends the human body is in a finite balance. During famine, wars, conflict etc. the human body restricts population reproductivity. Stress is one of the biggest inhibitors of pregnancies'; that & health.

Even if the population doubled to 15 Billion the strain on natural resources, funds, food, jobs etc. not to mention the conflicts these would bring about would create a natural capping. Even the ones who did survive & go full term would find a very challenging childhood which many would not survive.

It's a harsh reality but true. As stated by many, many, many reports & not just the UN that by 2300 the human population of Earth will be under 11 Billion.

There was even 1 report compiled which suggested over 1,000 Billion🤦‍♂️

Just a hint; if you wish to say mine is incorrect; you must provide evidence as to why it is so & supply supplementary evidence for your own rebuttal. Saying "that's not true" is hardly an argument.

@SteelHands If you 'HAVE' created 17 sons & adding 35 grandsons then YOU are part of the problem.👍

One final note.

You do not set the conditions upon which I write.
L33TH4X0R · 41-45, M
@SteelHands As stated for everyone NOT blind or alliterate.

The UN was just one of 20 studies.🤦‍♂️...oh I've YET to see your study.
SteelHands · 61-69, M
@L33TH4X0R That's not how I see it chappie. I win. You lose.

I see it as your line dies out and mine continues.
SteelHands · 61-69, M
@L33TH4X0R Put your bought studies where the sun doesn't shine you insulting bucket of refuse.
L33TH4X0R · 41-45, M
@SteelHands
You do not set the conditions upon which I write.
True, but...“That which can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.”
L33TH4X0R · 41-45, M
@SteelHands Not if your lines are as deluded as you seem to be. You're adding nothing to society except numbers.

@SteelHands
Put your bought studies where the sun doesn't shine
It's where you get most of your ideas from apparently. You've not backed up a single claim you've made.
