If it was my son, I'd tell him I am not going to keep paying for his college tuition if he isn't going to take it seriously and put the work in

@SW-User That’s something my dad would definitely say. He doesn’t play when it comes to education. He said if I’m going to keep being lazy and unmotivated and not ask for help, then I don’t care enough about my future and I need to stop giving my tutor a hard time and just listen and stop taking over her. My dad and his girlfriend don’t play when it comes to grades. His girlfriend got after me too.

@LaylaTheTallGirl Yes well especially at college level you have to take it seriously. If you are legitimately struggling to understand then yes use a tutor and listen to them. Some people have a great way of explaining things differently than a professor might and you may find that very helpful.

@SW-User Yeah that’s what my dad was trying to tell me. Even my older siblings got on me for being lazy and unmotivated and not asking for the help. I yelled at them saying that I’m trying but they tell me they know I haven’t and don’t play bs games with them. They really shut me up. I’m in high school and a senior
