Around ten of my classmates have died this year from overdoses

☹️ we had a very small class of like 300..... I think around 30 people have died since I graduated from overdose and car accidents and drowning a boy shut himself in the face with a shot gun another father of five kids hung himself

Can anyone else relate? Is this normal? Is this because I’m from a small town with nothing there? I don’t understand

Is this just the reality of growing up? Pretty sure 1/3 of my classmates are using hard drugs

It sounds like frustration took over the town

@Khenpal1 😳
@Khenpal1 or drugs did.

When it hits a small town,,and the dealer moves on ....what happens to the people that have gotten used to using this drug?

They either find something heavier ...or crash .

And if the crash is hard enough...they don't survive.

That makes a lot of sense and explains the situation pretty well. It’s like it’s slowly getting everyone and killing them off @BoobooSnafu

@BoobooSnafu I noticed that in smaller towns they use more drugs as it is more easily to hide . It resembles scenes from old western movies where there is nothing meaningful to do.
@DeluxedEdition its a horrible fact that its not uncommon.

Small towns are easy prey.

And modern drugs like ice are very quicky addictive.

Its horriblly sad .

@Khenpal1 I always found stuff to do in the country. I would go on adventures in the woods or go bike riding. I had lots of hobbies, I crochet, paint, draw, play video games I don’t know what’s wrong with my generation 🤔 yeah let’s all do hard drugs until we die

Now I know why my mom and grandma never let me hangout with anyone from there....
@Khenpal1 yep.👍

Small towns just aren't prepared for this shit.

Drinking and hootch just dont hold the bar to these new drugs .

Its devastating
