Is it okay to be a follower instead of a leader?

I've realized I seem to be more of a follower myself than the leading type.

Absolutely! It's the followers who get most of the work done, while leaders (including myself) get most of the credit.

@exexec Feels more natural for me being led by someone else.

@exexec I think that's the wrong kind of leadership.

@Casheyane True, if you mean the leader TAKES credit. Unfortunately, people usually give credit to the leader, even if he/she tries to get recognition for the staff.

@exexec Good leaders know to give credit where credit is due. And good leaders don't just give orders.

@Casheyane You are correct, however a leader has to lead others to get the job done. I could do not do the work that my 30 staff members did. I led and they did almost all of the actual work. I gave them credit, and they were rewarded.
