No you didn’t make me upset/angry/etc. I tend to feel pretty neutral most times in general.
I think you’re overestimating your impact.
I work in customer service. I’ve had customers threaten to kill me and wish I would die. That didn’t even upset me- I was mostly amused. Nice try, buddy!

I thibk people assume because reading a message is often taken out of context when you dont have the tone of voice attached to it. We invented smileys to try and curb that a bit.
