Receiving very expensive gift only once a year from spouse or many small gift in short interval between a year but cost same in combine.

It is not a small gift if he made it. I like things that have a part of the person in them. I don't mean organs though 馃 or limbs..I mean like his favorite t-shirt, a clock he made, cups he painted, music he played and recorded for me..things like that.
I generally dislike expensive gifts but people do it anyway. I figured since I can't control them, I'll just roll with it from now on.
