For women which one is more pleasing?

Receiving very expensive gift only once a year from spouse or many small gift in short interval between a year but cost same in combine.

I would think the gifts of time, attention and admiration would top anything material that someone would give. A token to capture the moment and express one's admiration, regardless of the cost, is just that.
