Receiving very expensive gift only once a year from spouse or many small gift in short interval between a year but cost same in combine.

Let’s say that i’m not a materialist but if i absoloutly have to make a choice than i would say that i prefer the second one ( many small gift in short interval) cause what matters is his attention toward me and the fact that he wants to surprise me and not really the gift.
