Receiving very expensive gift only once a year from spouse or many small gift in short interval between a year but cost same in combine.

that would be pretty annoying to me. like if u give me a gift, i have to give u another one back, then i feel like it's almost a stupid way to spend money, yk u can show ur affect with words or acts but not with presents. if one person just expects presents, then that person isn't ready for a relationship for me or it's not mature at all. love is a different thing

@Konicha605 I do not feel pressure to exchange gifts. The meaning of a gift is that someone wants to give freely to me which I will also do in whatever way comes naturally to me. If you feel pressure to match gifts I have always felt that this is unhealthy because it means that you are able to receive true love in whatever way the gift giver prefers.
