The man who gave us cassette tapes sadly died. Did anyone else record their favourite songs on them back in the day?

He was rubbish at taking photo's though...

@bookerdana I copied the limited editions and rare copies so i didn't have to touch them.

@BeerMonster You can't even get what would have been mid fi decks today,the transports are bad. The cassette was always an over-achiever after the introduction of better tape formulations and Dolby.

@bookerdana Dolby was a miracle, Walkmans with Dolby were a must have.

@BeerMonster Thank Henry Kloss ..he flew to England and convinced Dolby to make a consumer version of Dolby A,also the introduction of Chrome tape...he was kind of a loveable old duck ,his deck had one "true" VU meter and an add on mic pre amp that was really high quality!
