I like to talk about my job
Several reasons why I like my job listed below.
1) It pays well and I like the people I work with
2) It is close to my house (5 minute drive)
3) It teaches you discipline
4) You learn to work as a team
5) I get paid every week (some jobs get paid every 2 weeks)
Yeah I know I put 2 in 1 on the first one and that's because I feel they are both on the same importance level for me personally.
I mostly enjoy the controlled environment. Most jobs I have worked there is much chaos, people running around doing what they desire, lack of strict bosses and shitty management. That is not the case at the turkey place. Everyone is at their station at all times until told otherwise. Everyone works and no one is singled out as far as favoritism and all that. We have multiple bosses and they are strict but also they recognize hard work so if you are doing your best then you shouldn't really have a problem.
3 breaks a day two 30 minute breaks (not paid so that's an hour off your paycheck everyday for breaks) and one 15 minute break. More than enough time to sit and eat and relax. Standing on your feet working up to 12 hours a day.
And I've worked all types of jobs (my longest period of time at a job was 5 years at a chip factory) when I finally decided to leave that company I was a machine operator and I was making more than I am now. But my job now is still better than all the rest I've had.
