Why so much hate towards her.
@Jeffrey53 It boggles the mind.

@Jeffrey53 people don't like her.. people don't like or appreciate her behaviour.. they see her as having warped Harry and having taken him away from people who adored him.. they see her as a manipulating woman..
@Adaydreambeliever What “behavior”, though ? Being less than self-effacing ?

@bijouxbroussard
Being less than self-effacing
no, not at all, I respect you enough to know that that wasn't disrespectful to me - I am sure you didn't for one moment think I thought that. So no, I can only speak for myself personally but her reputation precedes her.. I still hoped for the best but from some of our perspectives she has turned Harry against his family and she has taken him away from us. Harry was truly, one of the most loved of the royals. He seems pretty naive.. and in many ways was always protected.
I would certainly hate anyone to think that we are not feminist here. we are.. in many ways we do have less misogyny and more equality, so no the idea of not liking her because she isn't self-effacing would be to paint an inaccurate picture.

PS we know Lady Diana, Fergie and others have met similar fates of feeling they didn't fit in and weren't welcomed.. I have every sympathy.. but they weren't black so we do have to be careful of making assumptions it was to do with her colour.
@Adaydreambeliever Thank you, I appreciate that and respect you enough to know that you’re not a racist.
But I do think that is a big part of why much of the British has a problem with her—her “American” forthrightness and confidence comes across as arrogance. And the racial aspect is very real. Like I said, the interview actually showed articles with people complaining about Meghan “tainting” the bloodline of the royal family. Before they married, I saw Brits here actually saying as much. So it’s not something to be dismissed.

@bijouxbroussard You may be right.. I truly cannot say.. I never saw one word published against her regarding her race.. But yes, there's a perception about Americans and arrogance. .that's true and an ultra traditionist and stuck in their ways 'firm' would not have taken kindly.. Diana apparently found the same. as did Fergie. .they seem known for doing this. sigh..

The Queen genuinely loves her grandson, he's allegedly one of her favourites and she went out of her way to relate that he will always be part of her family.. in her speech she used that term no fewer than 5 or so times.. She loves him and is disappointed.. for sure.

Racism is never to be dismissed.. we have it here. .we are far from perfect.. but in comparison we are a little further down the line.. it IS illegal to express derogatory racist views here.. Those people saying that can be arrested. its not ok
