In terms of what they do, up until Covid times you'd find them being pretty much the PR of the UK overseas - companies and meetings, and subsequent contracts would ride on their coattails ......so, good for jobs and employment...
I love the Royals. Sure the whole Diana thing was pretty rubbish but don't think for one second that she was weak and timid; she was pretty ruthless as well.
Princess Anne is fuckin' cool. A lovely, caring woman who takes no shit and a fantastic ambassador for this country.
Andrew? Nah, not my fav person. There's more there to it that that...and I do feel that him (alongside Trump, don't forget!) are guilty...so something should be done about that.
Harry and Meghan? I think that she's come from an American perspective and, I cannot believe for one moment that she didn't know who the fuck Harry was! Yeah...like she's never used Google or Wiki ?!?! The mental health thing? I can't for one minute (again!) that with Wills and Harry, both ambassadors for Mental Health charities and initiatives, she wouldn't have been helped.
The problem being that if people take truths and then put them with lies and exaggerations then people don't tend to believe them, which is only natural, but maybe the truth was seen as 'not sexy enough' for the media?
I think that he's trying to do what feels right for his family...and that Meghan, for her own reasons, is trying to drag him away...which is sad..I do hope that they heal whatever rifts are between the family members...
As an aside, I have to compliment the Oprah thing for getting us to sack that pompous arsehole that is Piers Morgan - opinionated, arrogant and a complete dick...

but what i dont understand is why the need to air your issues on TV. what ever happened to mediation and therapy?.
As for costing lots they also bring in lots of tourism and have plenty of people working for them on their staff, i wouldnt want them sacked.
Its not our busineed what goes on behind closed doors thats for them to deal with.
I blame the press in all this, they have too much power and needs to be regulated more. That has been shown by the successful cases against them.

@jackjjackson she has used her girl’s school as a cover for human trafficking. It wasn’t long after she started it that girls reported being raped. And there were girls kidnapped from that school. She has ties with “John of God” (was one of the themes on her show as a “faith healer”) who was later tried and convicted of using young teen as breeders after raping them and selling their babies, he was running a human baby farm and trafficking the babies. The story is dark and deep. She was also associated with Harvey Weinstein.

I don't have any problem with adult men choosing to have themselves circumcised, although I think they should have all of the facts in hand before they commit to what amounts to irrevocable surgery. And I'm not aware of intact men shaming or insulting circumcised men, unless those men are pro-circ and opposed to outlawing the practice.

So educating people is probably going to be more productive. Circumcision is already rare in Europe, and losing popularity in the U.S., with around a third of boys currently allowed to remain intact.

Intactivist are watching this bothers us who feel mutilated more than those who are happy about it,
I seen it first hand and dude said a man with cancer that circumcision could remove should not be able to choose it. I agree with their message but not their methods.
there's not just a whole lot of us circumcised men in intactivist circles, we dont need to be reminded every day we're mutilated.
