@DeluxedEdition What gets me is like, that shit isn't edgy anymore. Maybe fifty years ago that would have been shocking, but nobody cares if you wanna have a lot of sex partners or do freaky shit. It isn't liberating or empowering to loudly proclaim you're doing shit that nobody was trying to stop from doing to begin with. It's like people who brag about how they're gonna be drinking heavily at the party tonight. Congratulations, you're a grown adult legally purchasing alcohol that you are then going to consume at a venue in which consumption of alcoholic beverages is considered lawful. What a fucking rebel you are, spending your money on something you're perfectly allowed to do, and then drinking it.

@DeluxedEdition Like don't get me wrong, I listen to a lot of music with fucked up ass lyrics. One of my favorite songs of all time is "Last Caress" by the Misfits, in which Danzig sings about killing a baby and raping its mother. The same band sang the song "Attitude" which is about beating up your girlfriend in public. But the point of the song wasn't supposed to be "ooh look at me! I'm shocking! I'm saying things that are bad but I'm not making it sound bad!"
