What happens when you follow someone on here?

I have followers but I don't know what they are doing there.

Good question, I have no idea. I miss the home page where you could see what those you were following were posting.

That's there. Simply change the filter in the top right to Friends & Groups and it will behave the exact same way as on EP.

Following someone includes their stories on your homepage when filtered to Friends Only or Friends & Groups. That's all.

Following??? Here on SW it only makes it easier to see if they are online, or to go to their replies to see what they have been saying...

you follow them ...and then they can accept you as a friend ,otherwise they just stay as followers
