houses are great if you are handy enough to keep it repaired yourself.. otherwise you are better off with an appartment

@BlackBlossom I had to spend about 8k in plumbing repairs last year. When I bought my house seven years ago, my rent was the same as my new mortgage. Rent has increased so much over the past seven years that I still saved money compared to renting. It's gotten crazy here. The apartment I used to pay 1k a month for now runs for almost 2k a month.
