It's supposed to be run by the people through the representatives we send to Washington. But when they get to Washington all they do is fight over who gets to run it. Then, if one side or the other gets ahead of the other, they run the country for just their side and not everyone.
Instead of sending Democrats and Republicans to Washington, why don't we instead send people to represent us.

Treat it like jury service !
Everybody gets called at some point and has to work collaboratively to get things done and try and improve life for everybody not just those with vested interests.
