Why dont i feel that spark with my friend anymore?

@Adstar Maybe all they wanted to be was friends??? You can be friends with someone of the opposite gender without it turning into something more, you know...

@HootyTheNightOwl And every friendship between a woman and a man can become more then friendship and when that happens it is usually one sided and that's when the friendship ends...

@Adstar neither of us have extra feelings for each other because we know we will never date. In the guise of friendship, he wants me to constantly text him, listen to him about his work, tell him everything about me, talk in the weekends late into the early hours or morning.... kinda like a proxy girlfriend. J gave in to his wishes, and I enjoyed them too but something snapped inside of me and i dont want to stretch myself out anymore.

@Adstar It [b]could[/b] happen - but it doesn't happen in every case... sometimes, just being the only one in a friendship who is expected to make all the initial contact can be enough to kill off a friendship with a guy.

It sucks, but, there comes a time when she sees that the balance is not there.

@Heretodaygonetomorrow Kind of sounds like He put you into the friend zone... hummm maybe deep down in your subconscious You where the one who wanted him to change the nature of the relationship but you knew he was not going to change so that spark inside you was a spark that only existed while you felt the possibility existed for something more?
