Planning a cross country trip

My daughter just got the second dose yesterday and they sent her home this morning from work at the hospital because she has a fever and chills. Hope it means it’s working. I’m going on a European cruise when this is over.

My plans are to get vaccinated when it's available to me. Until that happens, I'm happy to be home working part time, getting through my "to do" list, catching up on shows, walking and exercising, playing Scrabble & pool with a quarantine friend. I refuse to be gloomy. I know we'll all get through this. I'm hopeful after all of our sacrifices, the government will have a better plan in place for the next time we have to go through this. Nothing else for me to do but continue to be patient.

No because they're already telling us that even if they rolled out vaccinations 24/7 it would still take a year for everybody to have the required two-shot coverage that would deem them 'safe'.

We'll be spending both still in lockdown with the way BoJo is going...

We bought a cheap condo in December that is in the middle of West Virginia. Plenty of room to hike around and stay away from folks.

I'm sure we'll still hit the beach for the 4th of July.

The vaccines alone won't change much, my friend. The seasons will change as they may. Searching for a decent job. Searching for a decent man. I continue living, learning, and growing. Hope is necessary for most people. Reality is though too. Have a great day.
