In what order do you put your socks and shoes on?

Do you go both socks, then both shoes? Or sock and shoe to the same foot, and other sock and shoe?

Socks then shoes, though I rarely ever wear a pair of socks that match. I get cartoon socks for my birthday and Christmas most years from my wife, so often I'll have a sock that has vikings on one foot, and a sock that has dinosaurs on the other.
