More than a year ago I invited this guy, who i considered to be one of my very closest friends to my sister's wedding

Today we were talking about that day and he said, it was awfully cheap/ miserly of the hosts (which he probably knows is my family) to serve the wine to the guests , for the toast, in plastic glasses that look like it's made of glass.

I was... a little hurt. I thought he loved the wedding.
