Knowing the ageism is very real in the job market is going to university even worth it at my age?
Sure I'd get a fancy piece of paper that says look I know things but knowing how ageist the job market is I doubt going at my age is worth anything.

Depends what you attain.
Though without field experience and with afore mentioned workforce ageism, waste of time and money.
