Peace with Iran serves as a moderating influence on Iran. If I were Iran I'd be wary. They have made a lot of good faith gestures over the past couple decades and the US keeps screwing them over.

In the protests that happened during obama's presidency he sided with the government and aided it financially to stop ppl
What Trump did is that he put lots of pressure on that government and never gave them a penny. Ppl in Iran want that even tho it's making their lives worse they counted on him to continue these pressures so it'll be over one way or another

@Nanori well, hello from around the globe. You really believe your own general was a terrorist? Really, terrorists tend to be extra-national actors though. Generals usually aren't terrorists, but war criminals. A key difference being that states are generally held responsible for protecting war criminals.
