HISTORY: Regardless of religion belief or not, do most historians agree that Jesus was a real man?

I don't know what most believe. I know many that believe the man was a complete fiction. Others believe he was constructed piecemeal from multiple other figures both real and fictional of the time. And yet others believe there was a real man whose story was exaggerated more and more through oral tradition before anything was written down.

I don't know that there is any real consensus.
