A user on here says America would fold without Californias economy. What are your thoughts? Does Californias economy prop up the rest of the country?

In the short term, it would hurt a lot. California is both a trade and technology hub in the US. Without it, it would take years to decades to shift those hubs to other locations. Seattle would likely become the new tech hub, and possibly the new Asia Pacific trade hub. Long term it would be worked around, but short term would represent a massive weakening.
