Great point! 🤣 Having read a LOT of science fiction novels in my time, humankind see interstellar travel as pioneering the last great frontier, and exploring the unknown...the last adventure which has never been done before.
What they fail to realize is their own fragility. Without the correct atmosphere, the correct water, and the correct food supply, grown in the correct soil with the right amount of sunlight from the correct star, and the correct rainfall of non poisonous rain, in the correct gravity, humans will die, usually rather quickly.
Finding ALL of the above would be a small miracle.
