Did you take a vacation this year? If so where did you go and what did you do?

@Stereoguy it was interesting. I learned stuff. met some pretty cool people. kinda decided that I would, indeed, took on the title of 'photographer'. all in all it worked out pretty to fairly well. lost a hdd full of images. that was a fairly hard downside.

@Stereoguy it made me go retake the more important ones, better light.. and the decision about the 'photographer' title.

@Stereoguy kinda tied right now, between a sigma 105 macro lens and a 2-500 telephoto. I really want to look at the sigma 80-600 sport.

@Stereoguy what do you shoot with? I kinda wanna upgrade to a d850, but... price. and I'm not sure I'd really put it through its paces. but then again... better iso, and the capability to do the full FX size.

@Stereoguy I know many people like the canons. I probably should have picked that company instead.

@Stereoguy yeah, I heard pretty much you could go nikon or canon. and I think I recall that I heard canon tended to be higher on lenses, nikon on bodies. and that (until recently) pretty much all nikon glass worked with pretty much any nikon body, but canon didn't really do that as well.

@Stereoguy I got a cheap little gopro like camera and thought about posting drive video from roads like skyline, but I don't think anyone would wanna see them.

@Stereoguy hehe. it'd probably be more interesting now, with the fall colors.
