Would you like them to dismiss what you say as wrong, unimportant - or to take it seriously? If you're upset about something, would you want them to misunderstand you or would you want them to take the time to listen to your side of things? Would you want them to be really controlling of your life - or would you want them to be more like a partner to find common ground? Would you want them to always want their own way, or someone who cares about what you want? Would you want them to be moody, or to take the effort to be cheerful? Would you like her to flirt with other guys or know how to be committed to you?

Then behave like that, all the time. No matter what kind of mood you wake up in, always be considerate. That's called maturity.
