I think a lot of people say inapropriate things, unaware they could be considered racist. But i feel they possibly dont mean them in an offensive way.
I think back to hiw my own parents refered to people of colour.....and their words woukd surely come across as racist in todays world. Yet neither of them had any issues with the people at all. My dad had a good friend who was a coloured man.
He was actualky known as 'Darkie' by everybody locally...as shocking as that sounds now.
