I think it is so ingrained that they do not see it as racist. The amount of times people i know have just blurted our some racist comment and then realise I am there and back track by saying "but I don't mean you" .... but yes you do!
@BabyLonia it’s crazy, I knew someone that was openly racist but really got on with the Sri Lankan shop keeping. He’d just say he’s ok though. I don’t know how you could right so many ppl off because of their skin colour it’s so primitive
