Why do you turn your light off when logged in?

trying to conserve electricity...we all have to do are part, don't we?

In the morning I grab the phone while still in bed. I don't turn the lights in hoping the cats won't demand food so I can stay in bed. It never works.

Sometimes although rare I might be chatting to more than one person so I'd switch it off in case anyone else wants to chat (men can't multi (task) chat) then I forget to switch it back on. Why do people hide their friends and replies? personal choice I suppose!

Idk, because if whether your light is off or on, if you're online you're listed under "people".

I couldn't figure out who people where messaging me right when I logged in- figured it out.

I have considered it to prevent confusion when I'm logged in but not actively watching the screen. But I figured if it doesn't lead to complaints, it doesn't matter so I kept it on.

I don't. I have never turned mine on, or I somehow turned it off and don't know how I did it!!! 😂😂😂

Maybe to be incognito. To fly under the radar in stealth mode so they can observe and people watch🤔
